Threshold - Hide results if there are less than 5 answers
Do you want to make sure that results can not be traced back to an individual? Do you want to make sure that results are only shown if there's 5 answers or more available? The threshold is something for you!
IMPORTANT
To activate this feature, contact your customer success manager or send an e-mail to support@hellocustomer.com. We are happy to activate this for you!
1. The threshold in general
By activating the threshold, we make sure no answer can be traced back to a certain individual. We do this by:
- Making sure no results are shown if a combination of the data range and the selected metadata filters leads to less than 5 answers
- Not showing individual metadata values for participants anywhere in the platform
This way, we guarantee the anonymity of your participants.
IMPORTANT
To make 100% sure no individual participants can be identified, not even via the developer tools of the browser, make your touchpoints anonymous. Learn how to do this here.
Be aware that the threshold is activated for your entire environment. It is not possible to configure this on a touchpoint level.
2. Impact on the platform
Display of results
If there are less than 5 answers available, because of the selected date range and metadata filters, a message (1) will appear to indicate there is not enough data available. However, there is a count (2) to show how many answers are available. This is the case in dashboards, conversations and analysis.

Metadata on individual level
When the threshold is active, metadata on individual level is not shown to make it impossible to recognize a person based on a combination of characteristics.
In conversation details: the participant attributes part is hidden so a person can not be identified by the values
In the side panel of the ISAAC widgets, there's no option to show the metadata per individual feedback.
